There's a 4chan operation to trick "coomers" (a degenerative slur for adult artists and their fans, based on a term for orgasming) into destroying their galleries and portfolios in the works right now. They're doing it based on some mistaken assumptions about AI generated art. No, posting a blurb on that pirated song on youtube doesn't make it fair use. No, copying and pasting that facebook post about not allowing Bill Gates to harvest your data doesn't do anything. No, forwarding on that chain letter doesn't actually get you any money. And no, swapping your art out for potatoes doesn't actually help. Listen, here's the reality: The bots already have your art. They don't NEED it up on your gallery to work with it. Nor is moving to Tumblr or Twitter or Pixiv going to do anything to change that. No, moving to those sites won't stop future scrapes, either. You already can
